High Hopes Fest: 1 Year On

Commemorating Our Hammock-Based Charity Music Festival

Last Summer, to officially launch New Something, we hosted a charity-based music festival in The Rocky Mountains and raised $1,000 for The Children’s Home Project of Honduras. We partnered with a few local brands to host over 100 people and featured seven unique up-and-coming electronic music artists. High Hopes Hammock company provided hammocks all around the stage area for guests to relax in as we all raved in the woods. Bluebird Botanicals provided free CBD tinctures for all guests and even brewed up complimentary CBD snow cones, which were a massive hit. We also had our in-house VJ and lighting artist, Amplified Visuals, set up a projector screen, lights and lasers to illuminate our stage through the night. Even once the music had ended, many of us spent hours sat around a campfire singing songs and sharing stories. High Hopes Festival was an incredible day, filled with beautiful people, amazing music, lights, and dancing, all while raising money for a meaningful cause.

We were planning to host another charity festival for this Autumn, however, we had to completely halt all efforts due to the ongoing Coronavirus. To see such a special occasion slip through our fingers has certainly been difficult. With all that said, we’re excited to come back bigger and better than ever next year. In case you missed the festival or would like to take a stroll down memory lane, check out the rest of our recap below…

Thank you all for your continued support. We can’t wait to dance with you all again… and in the meantime, we’ve got loads of music on the way. Hope you are all still staying safe and hangin’ in there.

All the love,

The New Something Team
